Obituary of Muriel Dudgeon

Dudgeon, Muriel (nee Vachon) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Muriel passed away at the age of 84 after having lived a courageous journey with Alzheimer’s Disease. Muriel was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Dudgeon. Cherished mother of Merlene (Ernie) Colyer of Corbeil, Eric (Doris) Dudgeon of North Bay, Bonnie Burley (Lesley Tough) of Beaverton and Eileen (Jim) Ioakimidis of Brechin. Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Muriel is survived by her sisters Lorina Desrochers and Marceline Roy both of North Bay. Predeceased by her son-in-law Leighton Burley. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUERNAL HOME on Friday, February 22nd , 2013 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring of 2013 at Boxwell Cemetery. If desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
