I have very fond memories of Eila line dancing and attending various functions in and around the North Bay Golden Age Club. She was always an upbeat person with a wonderful attitude - always willing to help out. My last recollection was a few weeks ago when she was proudly showing me that she was wearing the blue shoe covers to protect our floors and with that twinkle in her eye commented "see I listened"..Eila you will me missed.

Eila had a heart made of gold. She was the type of Grandma that would leave food on your porch and would never forget to send you little notes in the mail reminding you of how special you are. She will be sadly missed....rest in peace with your children whom all left you too early. Love always...your grandchildren

I have many memories of Eila while I was growing up in Vald'Or--and living close to the Budnick family.My most vivid and cherished memory is of Eila giving us Girl Guides her "secret "recipe for Date Nut Loaf--that was the first time I had ever heard of a fruit loaf --and to think I could make it all by myself!! Every time I make a fruit loaf, or eat a slice of fruit loaf--I think of Eila--that's how strongly she impressed me with her recipe. I was fortunate to see Eila a few years ago at Roberta's camp--and I did tell her about the recipe--Eila really laughed!! May Eila rest in peace! Sally Smoly
