Obituary of Francis Eugene Reid

REID FRANCIS EUGENE ‘GEORGE’ (WO FE Reid) Suddenly on Friday January 25, 2013 in his 76th year. Dear husband of the late Lorraine Reid. Loving father of Glenn, Darren and Tracy (Fred Remillard). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Micheal, Riley, Brenna and Haylee and step grandchildren Sarah, Ashly and Amy. Born in Wallace, NS on February 9, 1937 to William Reid and Thelma Langill. Survived by his brothers Keith, Harold (Donna) of Kitchener, brother Jim (Barb) of Lower Cape, NB and sister, Annabelle (Lloyd Trites) of Riverview, NB. Predeceased by his brother Emery (surviving wife Betty). Eugene served with the RCAF as an Air Defence Technician for 34 years from 1954 to 1988 and retired as a Warrant Officer. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday January 31 from 1-2 pm. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2pm. Cremation has taken place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium.
