Obituary of Nathan Roy Joseph Konarek

KONAREK – Nathan Roy Joseph The Konarek family sadly announces Nathan’s unexpected death on Sunday January 6, 2013, at the age of 17. Nathan was the dearly loved son of Peter and Laurie Konarek (nee Smith), and the cherished grandson of Marian & Roy Smith, all of North Bay, and Stella Konarek of Sudbury. Predeceased by his grandparents Barbara & Joe Konarek, he will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles, Kim Deschene (Rick) of Welland, Michael Smith (Lindy) of Kitchener, Suzanne Hawley (Jeff) of B.C., David Konarek (Gayle) of Toronto and Paul Konarek (April) of Sudbury. Nathan enjoyed time in the out of doors and being with his friends. He loved his family and extended family and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9pm. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held in Omond United Church on Friday January 11 at 1:30pm.
