Wunsch, Althea (nee Lageer). Passed away January 2nd, 2013 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 54 years to Ed Wunsch. Dear mother of Peter Wunsch and Patti Wunsch. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Andrew and Ashley. Survived by her sisters Florence, Eileen and Bernice, and by her brother Ellis. Althea taught school in Owen Sound before attending Emmanuel Bible College. She moved to Mattawa in 1956 and taught for the Nipissing School Board until she retired in 1993. She loved the piano and was the pianist at the Eau Claire Missionary Church. She volunteered her time both at the church and at the Algonquin Nursing Home. Family will be receiving friends at the Eau Claire Missionary Church on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 from 1-2pm. Funeral service to follow at 2pm. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (Palliative Care) will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
