Obituary of Grace Simpson Hally Mills

MILLS: Grace Simpson Hally Grace was peacefully ushered into God's presence on January 1, 2016 at Eastholme. Grace was born to Archie and Grace (Hally) Macklin on October 22nd 1933. Grace was the beloved wife of Douglas Mills. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October. Dear sister of Myra (Robert) Michie of England. Mom to Albert (Lorrie) and grandmother to Ryan Mills. Step grandmother to Lorrie’s children, Kayla, Carla and Josh. Step great grandmother to Lorrie’s grandchildren. Like a mother to dear friends Fay and Everette Armstrong. Grandmother to William and Laura, Michael and Sarah Armstrong. Grandma to Chloe, Owen, Levi and Jacob (children of William and Laura Armstrong). Grace leaves many lifelong friends and her church families at 1st Baptist and Powassan Weslayan. She leaves nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews, all living abroad in, Scotland, England, New Zealand and the U.S.A. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation. There will be a Celebration of Grace’s Life at First Baptist Church (1250 Cassells Street) on Friday, January 8th, at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Baptist Church, the Powassan Weslayan Church or the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Grace’s family and friends would like to thank all the staff of Eastholme for their excellent care given to Grace, Doug and themselves especially over the last two weeks.
