Obituary of Kathleen Elizabeth Adamo

ADAMO: Kathleen The family of Kathleen Elizabeth Adamo (nee Hogan) sorrowfully announces her passing at home in North Bay on October 14th, 2012, after a valiant battle with cancer, at the age of 64. Kathleen is survived by Tav Adamo, her beloved husband of 43 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Kristi Adamo (Rob McMullin) of Ottawa and Kyle Adamo (Melissa Martin) of Toronto, her grandchildren Kysia and Mallea McMullin, her mother Marian Hogan of North Bay, her siblings; Marilyn Lemon (Gary) of North Bay/Florida, Janice O’Neill (Ron, deceased) of North Bay, Phyllis Jeffries (John) of North Bay and Richard Hogan (Kelly) of Calgary. Kathleen is predeceased by her father Wilfred Hogan. The visitation will be held at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME 464 Wyld St., North Bay Ontario, 705-472-8810 on Saturday, October 20th from Noon to 3pm. A service of remembrance will follow with the Reverend Elizabeth Fraser officiating. Special thanks to her care providers Drs. Stemp and Abeysinghe of North Bay, Dr. Cano from the Northeast Cancer Centre; Health Sciences North, and Dr. Song from the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre. The family is incredibly grateful to the North East Community Care Access Centre, all of the VON nurses, as well as Rose Joly of the Near North Palliative Care Network, who so compassionately aided the family in her final days. We must also acknowledge the exceptional generosity of friends and neighbours who have shown nothing but kindness throughout this challenging time.
