Obituary of Michael Wilfred Laplante

LAPLANTE – Michael Wilfred 27 November 1955 – 21 September 2012 The Laplante family sadly announces Michael’s unexpected death, at his home on Friday September 21, 2012, at the age of 56. Michael was the proud and loving father of Kyle Laplante, Kal Toll, and Travis & Troy Laplante all of North Bay. He will be fondly remembered by Karen Laplante and Maureen Thompson . Michael will also be sadly missed by his aunts & uncles with special thanks to his uncle Fred Fricker for all of his help. He will be remembered by many as a former, long time employee of Columbia Forest Products, having worked in the Rutherglen mill for many years. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in October. If desired donations to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
