I remember when these two kids came knocking on my Mom and Dad's door on Lansdowne Ave., in Toronto looking for a place to live. My parents took them in and gave the a room upstairs, bought them groceries etc., and they became wonderful friends for the next 45 years or so. I remember when John went down to Queen St. looking for a paper called The Golden Nugget- we all got a great laugh out of that. I know Mom, Dad and the boys Martin an Mike were sorry to see them go back to North Bay area. John even took my son Ronnie fishing when he was just a kid. I know Ronnie called him Uncle John because he was so close to the family. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts John, Sue and family.
Love, Sally and Ron
