Passed away peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the age of 87. The beloved husband of Ellen Van Mierlo (nee Wilkinson) both life long residents of Trout Creek. He is survived by his loving children Vern, Marilyn, Arnold, Diane, Wilfrid, Sharon, Vivian, Roger, Roland, Marjorie, Janice, Novalea, Cynthia, extended family Linda, Randy, Eunice, Jessie and Irma. He will be missed by his 84 grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his siblings Bernard, Rita and Ronnie. Eugene is predeceased by his parents John and Theodora (nee Aultman), his first wife Marcella, brothers Leo and Carl and his grandson Cory. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 7th, 2012 at 524 Cartier Street North Bay, ON from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. all family and friends are welcome. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME. If desired, donations to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
