Obituary of Franz Josef Preuss

PREUSS: Franz Josef Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, March 25th, 2012. Franz was the beloved husband of the late Ilse (nee Kirsch), he was 82 years old. Loving father of Peter Preuss and his wife Rebecca of Langley, BC, Angela Perreault and her husband Richard of Sudbury, Susan Jahn and her husband Michael of North Bay and he was predeceased by his daughter Anita. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren David, Michael, Alex, Christopher (wife Bernadette), Diana (husband Mark), Nathalie (husband Dan), Amber, Brooke and great grandchildren Amelie, Olivia, Daniel, Michael, Gabriella and Noah. Dearly loved brother of Gretel, Thresie, Maria, Else, Josef, Klara and Olga. He was predeceased by his dear friend Margaretha Fylypiuk. Franz worked for many years as a custodian at E.T. Carmichael, retiring in 1989. Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 30th at 11:00 am. Interment at the North Bay Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Northern Cancer Research Foundation , the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
