Obituary of Esther Young Fitzmaurice

Fitzmaurice, Esther Young Predeceased on November 24, 2011 by her husband of 64 years. Hector came to her in her sleep to bring her once again into his loving arms on February 6, 2012 at their residence. Esther was in her 86th year. Loving mother of Patti-Ann (Donnie), grandmother of Lizzie, Annie and Katie. Predeceased by her parents George and Annie Fielding, her sister Cathy Carr-Harris and brothers Dodie Frank and Bill Fielding. Born in Edinburgh Scotland on July 20, 1926. She worked as a welder on the Pontoon Bridges for the Liberation Forces during WWII. Esther became a war bride when she met and married Hector in Edinburgh Scotland February 28, 1946. Esther owned and operated a Hairdressing Business in North Bay before becoming a mother to Patti-Ann. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm.
