I have been going up to Mattawa since I graduated college with a good buddy, friend, Reme Lejambe, going on 23 years now. We always went to see Joe and his family and Joe was always quick with a hello and how are you doing. Kind of a cute story today coming home from work and school with my ten-year-old son Burke. Burke has been up to Mattawa a few times. I told my son a friend of mine died this week up in Mattawa. Told him it was Miriahas (sorry about the spelling) and Coles Grandpa, I said you know "Joe", he was quick to say "Oh I know who you mean I liked him". I think that sums it up for Joe everyone liked him.
