At Nipissing Manor Nursing Care Centre on Monday December 12, 2011 in his 85th year. Dear husband of Dorothy. Loving father of John of North Bay, Hugh (Susan) of Cochrane, Alberta, Andrea of North Bay, Margot Carnahan (Tim) of Dundas and Meaghan Gauthier (Marc) of Barrie. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ryan, Amy and Logan MacLennan, Lauren MacLennan and Heather Burr, Riley and Liam Carnahan and Dean and Keith Gauthier. Survived by his sister Elizabeth Prebble. Friends may visit with the family at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Rod will be cremated at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Salvation Army would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
