Obituary of Susan Teil

Teil, Susan Susan Opal Teil, nee Susan Unrau / Susan Dufault of North Bay peacefully made her change to the next world on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the age of 80, after a brief illness. Throughout her life, her natural beauty and youthful appearance won her many admirers. Her gregarious tendencies threw her into the limelight as she pursued her lifetime loves of theatre, dancing, music, advanced education, cats, and gardening. In recent years, she worked tirelessly on public and private gardens, beautifying her environment and cheerfully including all willing participants. A strong, gentle and insightful Mother and Grandmother, she recently called together a family reunion which included her favourite nephew Jake the sailor-saver. Susan is survived by her four children Karen, Lynn, Dan and Sean, and her seven grandchildren Scott, Josh, Greg , Jordan , Laura, Jairen, and Rhea. Her presence will remain with us always. The family wishes to lovingly thank Andre and Estelle for their constant devotion and support, as well as Leisure World for their sensitive care. Respecting Susan's wishes there will be no visitation or service. If desired, donations to Northern Cancer Research, or to the Ontario Society of Prevention of Cruelty to animals will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
