Obituary of Audrey Williams

Sadly, Audrey Sweatman Williams (Walton) died in North Bay on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, after suffering a stroke the previous week surrounded by her three daughters.She was in her 92nd year.Dear wife of Erle, who pre-deceased her in 2000.Beloved mother of Kathy (Culbert) of North Bay, Diane of Oro-Madonte, and Jane (Loftus) of Pembroke.Loving grandmother to Gordon, Cameron, Jillian, Krista, Jennifer, Ashley, Kaitlin, and Hailey, and dear great-grandmother of Benjamin, Zachary, Michele, and Myah.Audrey leaves behind her sister Jocelyn Bark (Chad) of Toronto, many friends from Princess Margaret Lodge where she volunteered for 30 years, from Church of Our Saviour in Don Mills, and from Marina Point and Leisure World in North Bay.She will also be remembered for her service as a volunteer with St. John’s Ambulance in England during WWII.There will be a memorial service in Toronto at a later date.Many thanks to the nurses on C3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their kindness to Audrey and her daughters.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (705) 472-8810.If desired, donations to the North Bay District Hospital Foundation MRI- Fund would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
