At the Mattawa General Hospital on Friday May 27th, 2011 at the age of 69 years. Simone Pauline (nee Chenier) was the beloved wife of the late Jean Marc Janveaux.She was also predeceased by her parents Marguerite and Isidore Chenier, her sisters Jeanine and Suzanne and her brother George.She will be lovingly remembered by her son Roger (Laurie) of Mattawa, her daughters Nicole Janveaux (Dale) of Edmonton, Lise Kirkham (Wayne) of Mattawa, Linda Janveaux (Tim) of Oshawa and Deborah Janveaux also of Mattawa.Simone will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Christina, Mark, Benjamin, Jonathon, Christopher, Austin, Ashton, Lyndsay and Loralei,her great grandchild Aden, her eight brothers and three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan, Mattawa Chapel on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2- 4 & 7 – 9 pm.Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Mattawa on Monday May 30th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery.If desired donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation , Daffodil Lodge, will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
