My condolences to the family. I knew John several years ago when he was living on Oak Street. I remember his smile and remember him talking about his love of gardening. I haven't seen him for a number of years - we would run into each other occasionally downtown - John on his scooter buzzing along and he'd stop for a brief chat. I hope his last years were good ones and I know he is in a good place now. RIP
