SHORTT, RICHARD WESLEY 'RICK'
With great sadness the family of Richard Shortt wishes to announce his passing on Friday January 1, 2010 at 48 years of age. Rick was the loving brother of Lynn Lavoie (Gaston) of North Bay, Ron (Karen) of Callander, Monty (Jacky) of Ottawa and Terry Trusevych (Alex) of Calgary. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Agnes Shortt, his brothers Franklin and Jim (Donna, surviving) and by his nephew David. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Rick worked for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission in Toronto. Visitation at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon to 1:30 pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm. A spring interment will take place at the Callander Union Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Online condolences at martynfh.com.
