Mahlon was an avid fisherman, fishing the waters of North Bay and Florida where he and Erma spent their winters for the past 32 years. He always looked forward every fall to reuniting with his Florida friends, and reconnecting with the trailer park community. In his later years, and following his retirement as a provincial bailiff, his Florida home was where he was most happy, enjoying the peace and solitude. Known as the grocery shopper for Erma’s Variety in North Bay, he enjoyed going to Food Basics each day to purchase stock for the store. An avid sports fan he loved spending time watching the Blue Jays as well as hockey on tv. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to share their stories and celebrate Mahlon’s life at Martyn Funeral Home from 1:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturday
