Obituary of Daniel Turcotte

With extreme sadness, we regret to announce the unexpected passing of DANNY SR. TURCOTTE. On March 16th/2018, Danny SR, passed at The Mattawa General Hospital at the young age of 68. Danny Sr, was the beloved Husband of 47 years to his wonderful wife Celine Turcotte and also the Proud Father of his only child, Danny Turcotte JR. Cherished Grandfather to, Dali Roads Turcotte. He was the son of the late, Maurice and Lavina Turcotte and the youngest child of 4,who will be greatly missed be his 3 sisters, Diane(Bizz ),Shelia and Ida Danny Sr will be best remembered and admired for his sense of humor, his joking spirit and life long dedication to Turcotte's family owned Chipstand . Danny SR loved playing Music and entertaining a crowd, there was no better sound then his fingers sliding across those piano keys just like Jerry Lee Lewis. You may also remember him for his love of Fishing on the Ottawa River, you might have even been lucky enough to get a fresh pickerel caught by the man himself. Danny Sr also loved The good old Hockey game, He was the ultimate Montreal Canadians Fan, spending many hours on and off the Ice coaching our local kids . He might have even taught you a trick or two. These are the memories we will remember him by. He will be greatly Missed..
