It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother Glenna Elizabeth Saunders (nee Redmond) at Waters Edge Care Community on 17 February 2018 at the age of 86. Loving wife and companion to the late Edward Kenneth “Ken” Saunders for over 60 years. Mother to Susan (Jim) of St. Williams, Ted (Rebecca) and Patti of North Bay. Cherished grandmother to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Alice Redmond, daughter Sandra and sister Patricia Pedskalny. She will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Glenna was a compassionate and respected nurse, wife, sister, mother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Salvation Army. Her family wishes to thank the entire staff at Waters Edge for their years of care and kindness while Glenna was a resident. Funeral arrangements entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME.
