The favourite space at our cottage is the screened in porch which we have named the Kerry Room because he helped make it happen. Kerry risked life and limb to help build the roof and for that, and for so much else, we are eternally grateful. Kerry shared his time and talents so willingly....he was a kind and generous man with a great sense of family. I didn't have the honor of meeting Kerry, seeing the level of love Matt had for his father says it all. The true measure of a man, a Husband, A Father is not measured by his success at work, or his wealth.
It is the kind acts to complete strangers, the strength to make his family feel safe when times are hard, and the morals he instills in his children to strive to be as good or better of a person as he has been.
Matt is an amazing man and a great friend.

Sharon , I have had the pleasure of knowing Kerry for 15 years or more and have spent every year since deer hunting with him. It was great to see him there for few days although we new he wasn't feeling well,however he made a point to come and see everyone. I will cherish out time together and the last visit on December 22nd at the hospital. My deepest condolences. Shawn

In 1986 I moved to Callander. Right across the street from Kerry and Sharon. It wasn't long before Kerry walked over to introduce himself. I'm so glad he did. He asked if I was a deer hunter. I've hunted deer with Kerry every year since then. I've seen their kids grow, been to their cottage in Commanda and even took a stab at getting on with the fire dept (with his encouragement). He's always been a person I know I will talk to from time to time. I will miss him. A lot.

Dear Sharon, Stephanie & Matt, had the pleasure of working alongside Kerry as a firefighter & as his Captain. We worked several years together on Local 284 executive. Kerry always took on any tasks with professionalism & sincerity. I remember telling Kerry a joke one day at work and watching him doubled over with laughter is something I'll never forget.
