I had the pleasure of working with Bruce over at Northland Engineering/Trow. He certainly knew how to entertain, whether with a well told story or interesting factoid. He inspired many laughs and fun discussion. Many condolences to family and friends.

It was with profound sadness that I learned yesterday(2018 02 06) of Darraghs passing. Bruce chose to go by his second name for the years when he attended Carleton University in order to distinguish himself from all the Bruces who lived in residence the year that he arrived. Darragh made many lasting friendships during those years when the entire world was in front of us. In the case of my wife Rosalie and I, he was part of our lives through our marriage, the birth of our children and on into retirement. We always loved receiving his Christmas e-mails and were concerned when one did not arrive this year. We have many great pictures of many of those moments from the earliest days at Carleton to a reunion trip to the North Channel that involved, Darragh, Alfreda, Bruce and Maureen Pospiech and ourselves. He was and always will remain an important part of our lives. Deepest condolences to all of the extended family. Please let us know when and where the memorial service will be held. While I am facing significant medical challenges, we would like to attend if at all possible.

Our sincere condolences to the family. Bruce and I not only worked together at MTO for many years but also shared many adventures and good times on fishing trips to Placid Bay Lodge with the boys from Boyce. Bruce's ability to tell stories and keep everyone interested will always be a highlight to the fishing group at the lodge and remind us all of the 'good times'. Rest In Peace good friend.

My sincere condolence to his family. I knew Bruce since 1977, first as my supervisor until 1985. Since 1985, I enjoyed interacting with him at MTO Environmental meetings then after retirement, the yearly fishing trip. Bruce will be truly missed but never forgotten for his humour, stories, life experiences, knowledge and phenomenal personality.

I worked with Bruce for several years at the Ministry of Transportation, and have many good memories of those times. He was a big man with a big heart, and he sure knew how to tell a story. My sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Bruce.

I met Bruce when he started seeing Alfreda, my best friend Patti's mother. We were invited out to Bruce's place on Lake Nosbonsing for BBQ. To this day, I have never had a hamburger that matched the taste of Bruce's hamburgers that day. What a great cook and what a nice man!
