HOBBS, Ian - (1960-2017)
Ian passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family early in the morning of Thursday November 16, 2017 at the age of 57, after an aggressive battle with cancer. He will be missed terribly and loved dearly by his daughters Brittany and Tiegan, and sons Tylor and Michael. Beloved son of Barbara and the late John D. Hobbs, he is survived by sisters Andrea McWhirter (Dave), Elaine (Jim Solomon), brothers Brock, Peter (Monique), and Jeffrey (Dana), sister-in-law Sharon, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Megan. Ian will be remembered for his passionate love of animals, commitment to fighting for those who are unable to fight for themselves, and his quirky sense of humour. There will be no funeral at this time, with a family interment ceremony to follow this summer. If you would like to honour Ian’s memory, please consider a memorial donation to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice - a cause he held dear.
