Obituary of Vincent John Meyers

MEYERS: Vince It is with great sadness the family of Vincent John Meyers, announce his passing on Thursday, August 24th at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Vince was the beloved husband for 58 years of Mafalda (Muffy) (nee Mancini), he was 81 years old. Loving father of Paul and his wife Julie and Cheryl Clark and her husband Scott both of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Sarah (Matt), Whitney (Laurentiu), Caitlin, Ben and Makayla and of course Gizmo & Lulu. Dear brother of Wayne (Judi), Shirley (Ed) and Bev. He was predeceased by his parents Vincent Meyers and Sophie Austin and by his sister Mary. Vince will long be remembered for his infectious smile and for whistling as he worked. He owned and operated a Postal Outlet and lottery kiosks at Northgate for 25 years. After retirement, he continued to work first at No Frills and then driving for North Bay Toyota, as he missed serving the Customer. A Private Family gathering will be held later. Cremation will take place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. And a special thank you to Dr. Kahn, Dr. Carter and all the incredible staff at Northeast Regional Health Care - True caring professionals. If desired donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association, the Canadian Lung Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
