Dear Nancy and Micheal and family: So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Mrs Giffy was like an aunt to us, part of the family. My mom, Vivian Boileau's dearest friend. Always there for my mom, coming to visit and knitting and baking and caring for us all and our children like we were part of her family. Always walking, walking walking all over town. And loved to dance up a storm with our dad, Pinky Boileau at our house parties. Will miss you so much. Comforting to know mom and dad will have you up in heaven with them now to party and dance away. What a feisty lady! Thought she would live forever. I gather great comfort in knowing she has joined my Mother in Heaven. Their friendship began 60 years ago. They shared the same hospital room and gave birth on the same day. Now Nancy and I are left with the wonderful memories of their enduring friendship.

My deepest condolences to Dorothy's family. I choose not to remember her with sadness but I celebrate her life and spirit with an enormous smile and a twinkle in my eye...just as Dorothy always had. I had the pleasure of serving her for many years and thoroughly enjoyed her visits, her stories and zest for life. Dorothy, I know you're trying to decide whether to go for a walk or knit.
