Obituary of Lucienne Joly

DUPUIS-JOLY, Lucienne (née Groulx) 1934-2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Lucienne Dupuis-Joly who transitioned peacefully in the presence of family the morning of Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the Mattawa Hospital. Lucienne was predeceased by her husbands Conrad Dupuis and Ted Joly, son Todd Dupuis, parents Oscar and Yvonne Groulx, brother David Groulx, and sister Irene Colbourne. As a wife, mother, grand-mother, great-grand-mother and friend, Lucienne touched many lives with her unrelenting unconditional love and will be lovingly remembered and profoundly missed by her daughters Debra (Scott) and Connie, son Cory (Melanie), five grand-children, Scott, Bryce, Cassidy, Kali and Gavyn and great-grand-daughter Elsa, as well as her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Wilkins and Mattawa Hospital staff for their unconditional care. We will hold on dearly through all the memories created with her and all the delicious home cooked meals she made for family and friends over the years. Funeral services will be held today, July 4th, 2017 at 3:00 at Ste-Anne’s Church in Mattawa, Ontario. Interment will follow immediately at Ste-Anne’s cemetery. Lunch will be served at the Golden Age Club after interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Lung Association and Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
