Obituary of Albert Marcel Roy

Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, at the Algonquin Nursing Home, on Saturday, July 1st, 2017. Albert Marcel Roy, was the beloved husband of Shirley Marie (nee Chouinard) for 56 years. Predeceased by his son Marcel. Loving father of Dianne (Ross), Michael and Nicole (Richard). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tanya, Tara, Lauren and by his great grandchildren Benjamin, Rory and Brody. He was survived by his 7 siblings and predeceased by his parents and 10 siblings. Albert worked in Construction and the Lumber industry for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 7th at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes will follow in the family plot at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery, Mattawa. Donations will be accepted in Memory of Albert to the Algonquin Nursing Home, the Alzheimer’s Society or Ste. Anne’s Parish (cheques only) would be appreciated by his family.
