Obituary of Brenda Ann Jorgensen
After a courageous battle with cancer, Brenda passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the age of 73 years.
Brenda, was the beloved wife of predeceased Carsten R. Jorgensen. She was the loving mother of Dana, Heather (Steve), Anika (Dean) and Carsten (Penny). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Riley, Dylan (Victoria), Devin (Jenny), Kendra, and by her great-grandchildren Mila, Addy, and Hunter. She was the dearly loved sister of Susan, Echo, Donna and Gordon. She was predeceased by her sister Debra, brothers Donald and Harry, and her parents Audrey and Gordon. She will be sadly missed by her brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Brenda was known for her passion for taking care of and helping others. She worked for a number of years at P.H.A.R.A. Her kind-heartedness extended to the homeless and the less fortunate. She enjoyed spending her time camping, canoeing, playing board games, doing Tai Chi, and reading. The highlight of each year would always be her winter trip to Mexico with her husband and sister.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration Of Life will take place in the hall of Omond Memorial United Church in North Bay on Saturday, October 26th from 1:30 pm to 3:30pm.
