Entourée de sa famille bien-aimée, Jacqueline est doucement allée retrouver son cher époux, Raymond, le 22 août 2024, à l’âge de 77 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil, à poursuivre sa mission, ses enfants et leurs conjoints : John et Jocelyne, Marc et Kimberley, Brigitte et Mark Resmer, Chantal ; ses trésors, ses petits-enfants : Véronique, Matthieu, Jérémy, Zachary, Chloé, Geneviève et Jessica ; ainsi que ses chers frères et sœurs : Denyse, Gilberte, Jean, Louise, Denis, Gilles, Gérald et Irène. Elle laisse également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, nièces, neveux, cousin(e)s, parents et ami(e)s qu’elle aimait tendrement. Jacqueline était une enseignante dévouée, ayant entièrement consacrée sa carrière à la communauté scolaire francophone de Mattawa. Ses anciens élèves et collègues de travail garderont de précieux souvenirs de Mme Lapierre. La famille aimerait sincèrement remercier Dr. Desmarais et son équipe, Dr. Gushe, Dr. Redhead et l’équipe des soins infirmiers de l’Hôpital de Mattawa, pour les soins professionnels et compatissants prodigués à notre chère mère et grand-mère. La famille vous accueillera au salon funéraire Martyn & Sloan – Mattawa Chapel, le vendredi, 6 septembre en après-midi, de 14h00 à 16h00, et en soirée de 19h00 à 21h00. La messe commémorative aura lieu le samedi, 7 septembre, à 11h00, à l’église de la Paroisse Sainte-Anne de Mattawa. Surrounded by her precious family, Jacqueline was gently reunited with her beloved husband, Raymond, on August 22, 2024, at the age of 77. She leaves to mourn, and to carry on her mission, her children and their spouses: John and Jocelyne, Marc and Kimberley, Brigitte and Mark Resmer, Chantal; her treasured grandchildren: Véronique, Matthieu, Jérémy, Zachary, Chloé, Geneviève, and Jessica; and her much loved brothers and sisters: Denyse, Gilberte, Jean, Louise, Denis, Gilles, Gérald and Irène. She will be fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends whom she loved dearly. Jacqueline was a dedicated teacher who devoted her entire career to the Mattawa francophone school community. Madame Lapierre will be fondly remembered by former students and colleagues. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Desmarais and his team, Dr. Gushe, Dr. Redhead and the Mattawa Hospital nursing team, for the professional and compassionate care given to our dear mother and grandmother. Visitations will be held at Martyn & Sloan Funeral Home - Mattawa Chapel, on Friday, September 6th, in the afternoon, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and in the evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 7th, at 11:00 a.m., at Sainte-Anne Parish Church in Mattawa. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Myeloma Canada https://myeloma.ca/
