Obituary of Frances Mildred Brouse

Fran BROUSE

Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024. Frances Mildred (née Humphrey), beloved wife of Sterling Brouse (deceased 2006) in her 96th year. Loving mother of Tom (Laura) and Cathy Mulligan (Pat).  Proud grandmother of Andrew, Jeff (Stef), Jordan (Stephanie), Kathleen (Brett), Julia (Will), Heather (Corey), Robert (Catherine), Nicholas (Rebecca), and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, William George and Matilda Humphrey and siblings, Jean Humphrey, Isobel Frederick, and Ray Humphrey.

Fran enjoyed many years as a secretary at Kennedy Insurance, King George, and Dr. MacDougall schools. She travelled to many worldwide destinations and loved playing bridge and being with her family. Fran was a faithful member of St. Andrew’s United Church.

Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3rd, at 10 AM. The Memorial Service will be at 11 AM in the Chapel, followed by a light lunch. Interment will be at a later date at the Boxwell Cemetery, Chisholm Township. If desired, the family would appreciate donations to the St. Andrew’s United Church General Fund.
