I was a student working at North Bay Public Works one summer in the 90s. I always loved it when they sent me to the garage to type work orders because Cliff was so much fun. Every time I got there, he'd cry out "Sheri, my love, you've come back to me!" and he'd hand me a stack of work orders and then be surprised by how fast I could type.
My favorite day there was when he needed to test something on a bus so he took me for a brief ride down the highway, then when we got back to the Public Works Yard, he let me drive the bus once around and right in to the bus wash.
My sincerest condolences to Cliff's family and friends.

Cliff was synonomous with Camp Mishewah! He was a great guy and all my family have wonderful memories of the Cowcills at Camp Mish. Boating, waterskiing and taking the kids fishing! Even bought his old trailer when he updated his! Heartfelt sympathies to Maureen and family.

I was so very sorry to hear of Mr Cowcill’s passing. I have very fond memories of Mr Cowcill especially family camp at Mishewah. When he wasn’t fiXing everyone else’s boat He would run his own and take anyone who wanted to waterskiiing. I will never forget double slaloming….. just a real nice man who cared. A real example for anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
To all the Cowcill family, I am truly sorry for your loss.

"Uncle Cliff" you will forever be in our memories! Your love for helping others and Camp Mishewah where we grew to love you, will be treasured memories for all of us...tubing, water skiing, fishing tournaments, Hubba-Bubba bubblegum hunts are still talked about by our boys who are now all young men finding their place in life. The many lives you touched are forever recorded in His Book. Your faith has become sight Cliff and we take comfort in that promise!

Cliff was a kind and patient soul who spent time teaching me how to drive a standard car. We would go for a drive around White Rock, B.C. and end up at the Tim Horton’s for coffee. It is a really nice memory that I will always have of him.

I will always remember Cliff as a warm caring friend.
Yes he was my “boss” However his mentoring went far beyond the work.
Cliff taught me not only mechanical stuff but how to enjoy the adventure that is life.
A bus trip to Sudbury , with my children, Cliff led the singsong. Wonderful memories.
My condolences to Maureen and family.
