Richard was my neighbour and although we didn’t visit, I would often see him outside with his dog. He would walk by my house and softly say ‘hello’. Rest in peace as you join once again with your loved ones. My sincerest sympathies to the Butler family and friends.

For more than 40 years Richard attended many of our family events and gatherings. He'd quietly share a smile or abit of humour. Fishing with Alex was one of his favourite things to do,along with sight-seeing around Ontario. Daisy and Topper were of his much loved pets who enjoyed car rides and took him for walks. His 'lumber-jack' days were tough and rugged work, but he stuck to it as longs he could. This work gave him a super appetite and an appreciation for a home-made meal. Somehow he managed to stay so slim-but he also was a great walker. We are sad to hear of Richard's passing-but would like to thank-All His Caregivers. Condolences to Richard's Family, The Decheno Family/ Judi and Paul Wilson

Richard, or Ritchie as we called him was a man of few words. But in his younger years he did like doing pranks especially on his sisters. I recall a time when he used clothes pins to attach our night gown sleeves to the bedding. I think he thought that was hilarious. Well dear brother you will be surely missed but we know you are at peace now. Forever in our hearts. Love you, Shirley
