Obituary of Dora Isobelle Chadbourn

Chadbourn, Dora Isobelle (nee Reed)

Passed away peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Saturday February 17^th, 2024.

Dora was the beloved wife of the late William Davey “Bill” Chadbourn. She was 86 years old. Loving mother of Curtis “Skip” (Wendy), Larry (Janet), Hope Ivany (Gord), Cherri DiGiacomo (Michael), Joseph (Stephanie), Trevor (Diane Germain), and Heather (Steven Craig).

She will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eileen Lindquist (Ted), Frank “Sam” (Doris), and Joan Albers (Paul).

Predeceased by her parents George & Lavinia Reed, as well as her step-sister Audrey Trenholm, step-brother Norman Alexander, brothers William, Chester, George, Alan, Gerald, and sisters Hilda Elcock, Joyce Hansen, and Shirley Sawyer.  

Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24^th from 7-9 p.m. and again on Sunday, February 25^th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Martyn Funeral home Chapel at 1 p.m.  Cremation to follow with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
