Obituary of Carolynn Elizabeth Chapman
It is with profound sadness the family of Carolynn Chapman announce her passing. She died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Center on February 13, 2024. She is predeceased by her husband Ray, her parents, Beth and Herb Howe, and her sister Bonnie McIntosh.
Carolynn lived in her Trout Lake home with her daughter Kori. She would have celebrated her 80th birthday on Feb. 16th.
She is survived by her brother Murray Howe (Cathy), her daughter Kori, her son Tyler. Ray brought Christine, Steven (Natalie) and Matthew (Jen) from a former marriage which Carolynn took as her own. With this blended family came three extra grandchildren and Carolynn took them into her heart as well. She was a great “mom-in-law and gran” to Amanda and grandson Graham Chapman. Unfortunately, she was just beginning to know and love a new grand daughter Aubrey. Carolynn had a sister by heart in Doris Stuart and a daughter by heart in Lou Mair.
Carolynn worked as an office manager at London Life right out of high school until she retired. Her and Lise (Guillemette) Levesque were a great team, keeping all the boys in line and organized.
Family and friends were of utmost importance to Carolynn. And she was very blessed to have plenty of both.
She was loved and admired by many. And will be sorely missed with her calm presence, kindness and compassion.
