Obituary of Karen MacInnes

In Memory of Karen Anne MacInnes, March 21, 1955 – January 5, 2024

It is with great sadness that we must tell you of the passing of Karen Anne MacInnes, at the age of 68 years.  Predeceased by her parents, Donald MacKenzie MacInnes and Dorothy Jean MacInnes (Graham), Karen is survived by her sister Cindy Mihok (Pierre) and brother Don MacInnes (Sandra) as well as nieces Emily Mihok (Adam), Crystal MacInnes, and nephews Donald ‘Scott’ Macinnes (Caitlin) and Alexander MacInnes, as well as Alex’s daughters Leah and Claire.

Karen will be remembered not only for love or art, music, and reading, but also for her continual support of others less fortunate than herself. 

We want to express our sincere thanks to the dedicated staff of Cassellholme, where Karen spent her final days.  Special mention to Trish and Jillianne.  Could not have been better, thank you.

Cremation has taken place, with a family interment to follow in the spring.

In lieu of anything else, please do something nice for somebody today, even if that somebody is a total stranger.
