Obituary of Nancy Rose Tiffin
Tiffin, Nancy Rose
September 27, 1964 to December 30, 2023
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of Nancy Rose Tiffin. Nancy fought a good fight against cancer for six years with both much prayer and many medical treatments before succumbing in the early morning of December 30, 2023, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
It was too short of a season, beautiful Nancy, but the battle is over, and you’re dancing with Jesus now.
Nancy was born in Alliston, Ontario, to Lynda Hollington (nee Worrell) and Kenneth Hollington and given for adoption. She was predeceased by her adoptive parents, Eileen Tiffin (nee Jamieson) and Kenneth Tiffin in Midhurst, Ontario who raised Nancy from infancy on a beautiful farm along with her adopted brother Bill. Nancy came to North Bay, Ontario, in 1980 to find her biological parents and she received Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour in their home. Giving her redemptive joy, Jesus changed her life and she moved to North Bay. She was a faithful helper in the North Bay Chapter of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship in Canada and attended many several local churches. Nancy worked as a waitress, a secretary/receptionist, and a telemarketer. She also received an Adult Education Business
Certificate. Nancy had a passion for reading the Bible and cooking various ethnic foods.
Though we and know by faith that she is in heaven with Jesus, Nancy is greatly missed by her mom, Lynda, her and dad, Ken, her brother, Jesse (Nora) and her niece, Victoria.
Per her wishes, Nancy’s body will be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date to be announced by emails. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to her Doctors, Dr. Trenker, Dr. Nobel, Dr Herst, and Dr Salata, the Northeast Cancer Centre, the North Bay Regional Health Centre, and the Home Care Nurses for all their faithful service.
Donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to First Baptist Church, Celebrate Recovery Program.
