Leona passed away peacefully on Thursday October 19th, 2023 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Beloved wife of the late Rene Fay, in her 91st year.  Dearly loved mother of sons Bryan (Betty), Michel (Hanh), Garry (Carmen), Charles (Kenna), and her daughter Diane “Fay” Heynen (Gordon).

Proud grandmother of Drew & Nicholas Heynen, Dylan & Dustin Fay, Justin, Patrick, Alexandre, Nathan & Mathew Fay, Brooklyn Fay, and Jessica Fay; and great-grandmother of Ross, Eddi, Grayson, Ella, Dash, Arlo, Meava, Milah, Charlotte,

Harriet, Julian, and Addison. She is survived by her sister Therese Fava.

At Leona’s request cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be inurned at St. Mary’s Columbarium at a later date.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home.
