It is with great sadness the family of Caius announces his unexpected passing at the Mattawa Hospital on Monday, October 9th, 2023, at the age of 79. He was the loving father of Nicky Belanger and her husband Chad of Mattawa. Caius was the beloved son of the late Hormidas and Maria Fortin. Dearly remembered by Berthe Fortin (née Bangs).
Respecting Caius' wishes, cremation will take place and his ashes will be interred privately at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en/) would be appreciated by his family.
