Rest In Peace my dear cousin! I can picture that smile as we all sat in the “big cabin”. Special thoughts from our end of the country as family gathers round back home. Would love to visit and reminisce with you all.

Brother, your passing has left a hole in both of our hearts. We will miss you dearly, and will never forget all our great times and adventures together.
You were someone we could always look up to, and whose advice we could always embrace.
Your outlook on life, and stories pertaining to your worldly experiences could never be duplicated.
Raymond will especially miss the four wheeling escapades of the Three Amigos (Norm, Raymond and Guy) but we know in our hearts that you will still be riding with us.
You will be forever missed.
Love,
Debbie and Raymond

Norm’s cheerful attitude and vast knowledge were always a welcomed presence in my office! I had the pleasure of working with him for many years and there was no doubt the value he brought to Redpath.
To know him as a friend was such an added bonus - that devilish glint in his eye and raucous laugh made all of his stories come alive. He was a kind and gentle soul who truly walked the walk when it came to living it up! You will be so dearly missed, Norm. Ride free up there!!

Many of us at Redpath have the deepest of admiration and affection for Norm. His knowledge, intuition and skill at the negotiating table sealed many difficult commercial agreements. Norm was a great guy, with an affectionate laugh, who loved his job and all that life had to offer. He had a wide range of expertise and interests and always left you feeling that your glass was half full. He wrote in his last note in May that he was on his way to Martin River to go camping. He went on to say that he had an amazing story about losing his phone. It’s unfortunate we won’t get to hear it. Extending our heart felt condolences to Norm’s family, friends and loved ones. He’ll be deeply missed.

Professionally, Norm kept his cards tight to his chest but that’s what made him such a great negotiator. Personally, he was an open book where all that was needed was a topic to open his interesting and colourful stories. I was so fortunate and touched that Norm generously shared his cards and book with me. His laughter, lessons and mentorship will stay with me forever.
