At Nipissing Serenity Hospice, in the early hours of June 28th, Cassie died peacefully with her two daughters and her mother by her side.

She was the proud and loving mother of Maggie & Millie Parker. Dear daughter of Janice James and the late Art Gauthier, at the age of 47.

Cassie was vibrant and spiritual, always finding the lesson in every challenge that crossed her path. She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humour and her incredible smile.

Cassie wanted to thank those most special to her heart, her friends, family, and neighbours who shared their kind words, prayers and support through her journey. A special thank you to Dr. Jinnah and the incredible nursing staff at Nipissing Serenity Hospice for their amazing care.

Please join Cassie's loved ones for an informal Celebration of Life at the North Bay Granite Club on Sunday, July 23rd from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. A small ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. To honour Cassie's fun-loving spirit, we ask that you dress colourfully. Anyone wearing black will be turned away at the door!! (Kidding!!)
