When I think of Aunt Mary I think of family - special time together and lots of laughter. Christmas was key. When we'd arrive for visits in the wee hours of Christmas morning, she was always up waiting for us, ready to make us cocoa and toast before we went to bed. Stockings for us would be hanging on the line in the living room. Though distance meant we didn't see a lot of each other as time went on, we kept in touch with Christmas letters, and not one goes by that I don't think of her.
