It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our mother, Madeleine (Maggie) Nadeau at the Algonquin Nursing home, March 5, 2023.  She passed away peacefully with her son and daughter in law at her side and with her ANH Care Family.

Madeleine was the loving wife of Normand Nadeau (pre-deceased May 4, 1994). Beloved Mother to Préscille Goodrich (John Goodrich) and Marcel “Bill” Nadeau (Janet McMaster).

She cherished her Grandson’s Kenneth Goodrich (Kate), Christopher Goodrich (Rachel) as well as a Great Grandmother to Liam and Paisley.  She had many Nieces and Nephews, which she loved very much.

Madeleine is survived by her Sisters Evelyn (late Roger Bélanger), Amanda (late O’Neil Viel) and June (late Renald Nadeau); her brothers Neldo (Georgette), Lionel (Rollande). Predeceased by her parents Edward Minor and Delina Minor (nee Levesque) and by her brothers Jerry Minor (late Anna), Albert (Martha), Max (Jean) and Roger (Aurianna).

A Funeral Mass will take place May 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church followed by a celebration of her life.

If desired, a donation may be made to the Algonquin Nursing Home in memory of Madeleine “Maggie” Nadeau.
