I remember so well all the times mom would get on a bus in Niagara Falls and arrive in North Bay several hours later to visit her sister my Aunt Joyce and how much they travelled the city trying to decide which restaurant to choose. I think Kentucky Fried Chicken won every time,Aunt Joyce’s favourite. Love you Aunt Joyce. Our lives will not be the same without you.

I knew Joyce as a volunteer member of the Friends of Laurier Woods. I worked alongside her as a board member for over 10 years. She served as the steadfast Treasurer for countless years, maintaining, updating and reporting the finances. She seldom missed a meeting and was always willing to participate and assist as needed with other projects of the organization. Her many contributions were always offered with kind-heartedness & a smile.
My condolences to the family. I feel certain Joyce will have left you with many wonderful memories.

Dear Sean & Randi: we are saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. God bless and God speed to her. She was a treasure to know over the years that I knew her from the Gateway Theatre Guild to the Arts Centre and the Museum. More recently we would see her at the grocery store and wait for her to finish her shopping and give her a ride home. You have our deepest condolences. She had a good go at it.
