As a fellow emergency worker within the city, it was always a pleasure to run into Chad on calls, and I always knew if I needed him to jump in the ambulance and help us out he quickly would. Along with being a great aid on the call, he could relate to anyone on the scene and could help keep the mood light. I was fortunate enough to spend some time around him outside of work thru mutual friends and he was always a pleasure to be around. To his family, friends and colleagues I offer my deepest condolences during this heartbreaking time. Chad was truly one of the good ones. Rest easy.

Sarah, Reece, Delaney, Wade, Sheena, Dana and the Ringler and Rotondo families. The kids and I are so sorry to hear of Chad’s sudden passing. We send our deepest condolences to you all during this difficult time. Chad was a very special individual, always so kind and friendly and he always made the time to chat when we would see each other either at the rink when the boys had hockey or in the neighborhood. He clearly loved and adored his family so much as most of our conversations were about Sarah, Reece & Delaney and my wife and kids. I think our friendship and mutual respect of one another was due to this strong love for our families. I personally really appreciated our recent chats and the kindness and support Chad offered during my family’s recent loss. Chad will certainly be missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We wish you strength and support from family and friends to get you through this trying time. Take care.

It’s so hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember like your kind caring loving ways, beautiful smile, sense of humour, your dedication to family, friends, teammates, fire department and community and most of all your beautiful spirit overall. May your spirt continue to shine bright as it shines down on all of us. Rest in peace my dear friend from many years ago…Tweedsmuir Public school to be exact. I think we can all agree you were one of a kind that many of us will not forget and no matter how long it has been you left a wonderful memory with all of us and touched us all in such away like no other…it simply came naturally to you so thank you for being you. Forever in our hearts along with all our wonderful memories we shared together past to present. Until we meet again…
My condolences to all who knew and loved him…oxoxox

In everyone's lifetime we all come across a special person that stands out among the crowd, someone
that leaves that indelible mark on people and humanity long after that person has touched us with their presence.
There is no question that person was Chad Ringler. I was fortunate to talk with Chad recently and every time after all these years it was the same. You came away feeling good about yourself. Chad was so unselfish, polite and sensitive to everybody he touched.
We are all reminded how short life really is, and how we are just passing through. So, all the people that you haven't told you love lately, tell them, and live your days like you mean it. Knowing Chad this is the only thing that he would want you to remember him by for this is how he lived his life.
To the Ringler family and to Sarah and kids may you find peace in the days and weeks ahead .

My condolences to the Ringler Family. I enjoyed working with Chad at NBFES and remember sharing lunch, laughs and deep discussion many times. Chad had this quality to calmly challenge you in a very respectful way. A quality that served him well. I also remember his cheeky grin at times. While I did not know him outside of work, every time I did see him there was always a hello, a handshake and a warm discussion. My thoughts are with his family (biological, extended and firefighting) at this time.

George and Cheryl : Ginette and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you, Sarah, Reece and Delaney, Wade and Dana. We have known Chad since he was a young teen playing hockey. He was such a skilled athlete and tremendous young man. We only saw him occasionally as he grew and started his family but we were always met with a warm smile and cheerful greeting. We cannot begin to imagine your profound loss; we can only express our support and prayers. We will remember a vibrant charismatic young hockey player who grew to be a captain in the North Bay Fire Department and always had time to smile and chat. He will be missed! Our thoughts and prayers also go out to Terry and Karen Rotondo and family.
