I always looked forward to meeting Gerry on the Kennedy trail. He had the broadest smile and loved chatting with those he encountered along the way. (I did find it a bit disconcerting to watch him scoot up the 24 stairs on his snowshoes, but he could do it!) RIP, Gerry.
My deepest condolences to his family.
