Obituary of Frederick John Edward Bennett

Frederick John Edward (Ted) Bennett passed away with his children at his side on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Mattawa General Hospital.

Ted will be dearly missed by Margaret (Ann) Bennett, his wife of 68 years. Ted and Ann moved to Calvin Township in 2001 after he retired from a long career as a mechanic and Service Manager.

Lovingly missed by daughter Sue Bennett, son John Bennett, daughter-in-law Nanci Bennett, and predeceased by son-in-law Ken Brewitt.

Ted will also be missed by his grandsons Lance Bennett (Amanda) and Corey Bennett (Julia), and his little great-granddaughters Amelia and Leanna, all of whom he was so proud of.

Friends and neighbors will remember Ted as a man who could fix anything, was generous with his time, and loved to exchange a story.

Special thanks to the nurses who cared for Ted with dignity and compassion. Donations to the Mattawa General Hospital will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
