Obituary of Murray Luxton

LUXTON, Murray

December 10, 1962 – August 8, 2022

Passed away suddenly in his home on August 8, 2022. Survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Patty, his son Matt, sister Kathy (Denis) and sister Karen (Dave).

He leaves behind his brother in law’s, George (Shelley), Bernie, Melvin (Gayle), John (Gwen), and Art (Lucille), along with all of their children.

Loving uncle to Victoria (Bernie), Adrian (Craig), Jason (Katie) & many great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Bob and Gail, his brother Jerry, sister Darlene and niece Jessica.

Murray will be dearly missed by all of his coworkers, past and present.

He loved spending time on the lake fishing, he loved going four wheeling, camping, and really anything that involved him spending time outdoors. Murray truly got along with everyone he crossed paths with, he was that kind of guy.

A Visitation for Murray will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld St. North Bay), followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00pm in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel.

A Burial for Murray will take place on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 10:00am at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery in North Bay.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke.
