It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gertrude (Gertie) Phyllis Carmichael (nee Maxwell) on April 16, 2022.
Predeceased by her husband Robert, son David, and grandsons Marcel and Evan. Survived by sons Marty (Kim), Jim (Mary-Ann), Mel (Pam) and Neil, daughter Beverly-Lynn, daughter-in law Pauline, her 10 grandkids and 15 great-grandkids.
A visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home on Friday April 22nd from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, with the funeral service on Saturday April 23rd at 11am. At the family’s request masks will be mandatory.

Donations can be made in Gertie’s name to Emmanuel United Church (General Fund), or the Alzheimer Society.
